How the commission works
Flawless is a one-time $320 purchase on the Shopify Theme Store. Shopify keeps its share, processing and taxes and pays Ascend the rest, roughly $260 per sale. Your commission is a percentage of that net amount, and the percentage depends on how many stores you have converted in total.
Every tier you reach also pays a one-time bonus, and referring another partner counts as two stores once they make their first sale. Exact figures per sale are on each store's page in your dashboard.

Questions partners ask
How much do I earn?
A percentage of what Shopify pays Ascend for every Flawless sale you refer. You start at 15% and the rate rises with the number of stores you convert: 15% Silver (from the 1st store referred), 20% Gold (from the 21st store referred), 30% Platinum (from the 51st store referred). There is no cap.
What is the commission calculated on?
The amount Shopify actually pays Ascend for the sale, after Shopify's revenue share, payment processing and any tax it withholds. Every store page shows that breakdown, so you can see the exact base for your commission.
Is there a bonus for moving up a tier?
Yes. Reaching Gold pays a one-time $250 bonus and reaching Platinum a one-time $500 bonus, on top of the higher rate. The bonus is added to your next payout.
Does referring another partner count?
Yes. Invite someone who should be in the program. Once they make their first sale through their own link, you are credited with 2 converted stores toward your next tier.
Which sales count?
Flawless sales on the Shopify Theme Store, any preset. Stores that already run Flawless cannot be referred, and a store is credited to one partner only.
How does a store get credited to me?
Share any of your links. When a store clicks one, installs Flawless and buys within 90 days of that click, the referral is matched to you automatically. There is nothing to submit and no receipt to upload.
What if the store does not get tracked?
Some browsers block the tracking cookie, and a store that clicked on a phone but installed on a laptop cannot be matched. In both cases register the store from Customers ("Register a store") and we will check it against the install and the sale. A store you register before it installs is matched the moment it opens the theme editor.
What if two partners referred the same store?
A store is credited to one partner only: the one whose link the store followed before installing Flawless. Once a store is credited it does not move to another partner.
Where do I see my referrals?
Customers lists every store that came through your links with its status and revenue. Performance shows clicks, signups and conversions per link, by country and over time.
Can I refer my own store or a client's store I pay for?
No. Self-referrals and purchases made on a client's behalf are rejected, and faked installs end the partnership. Your clients are welcome to click your link and buy themselves.
When does a commission clear?
Sales from the 1st to the 15th clear at the end of that month. Sales from the 16th onward clear on the 15th of the next month. Until then the commission shows as in holdback.
When am I paid?
On the 10th of each month, for everything that has cleared. Payouts go to your bank account through Wise, in your currency, and Ascend covers the transfer fee. Add your account on the Payouts page.
Which countries can be paid?
Anywhere Wise can send money to a local bank account, which covers almost every country.
What happens on a refund?
The commission is reversed. If it was already paid, the amount is deducted from your next payout. A partial refund reduces the commission in proportion.
Is there a cost to join?
No. Applying is free. We review every application by hand before your first payout.
Are there minimum traffic or sales targets?
No. There are no quotas and no monthly minimums. Your tier only ever moves up.
Who runs the program?
Ascend Themes Pte. Ltd., the company behind the Flawless theme. You deal with us directly, there is no third-party network.
